Hello! My name is Selena, and I am a native Chinese speaker with international study and cross-cultural communication experience. I am currently studying abroad and have worked in multilingual and multicultural environments across China and Latin America. I am passionate about language learning, cultural exchange, and helping students build confidence in communication.

My lessons are friendly, interactive, and tailored to each student’s level, goals, and interests. I believe that learning a language should feel natural, encouraging, and enjoyable rather than stressful. Whether you are a complete beginner, preparing for GCSE Chinese, improving conversational skills, or simply interested in Chinese culture, I will adapt the lessons to suit your needs.

In my classes, I focus on practical communication, pronunciation, vocabulary building, listening, and speaking confidence. I also enjoy introducing students to Chinese culture, daily expressions, travel language, internet culture, and real-life communication styles to make lessons more engaging and useful. I can provide structured learning for students who prefer step-by-step progress, while also creating relaxed conversational lessons for students who want to practice naturally.

As someone who has lived and worked in international environments, I understand the challenges of learning a new language and communicating across cultures. I am patient, supportive, and always happy to encourage students at their own pace. I enjoy creating a comfortable learning atmosphere where students feel confident asking questions and expressing themselves.
