I am a native Mandarin tutor offering personalised lessons for beginners to advanced learners who want accurate language skills and a deeper understanding of Chinese culture.
In our first class, I will assess your level, goals and interests, then design a clear plan just for you. Lessons can be online or in-person, one-to-one or in small groups, always focused on communication and confidence. We will build solid pronunciation and tones, essential vocabulary and grammar, and then move into real-life dialogues you can use immediately.
I integrate classic Chinese stories, idioms and poems into each lesson, so you are not only memorising words, but also experiencing how Chinese people think, feel and express humour and emotions. For example, we may learn an idiom from a historical story, then practise it in modern conversation and short writing tasks. This keeps learning vivid, memorable and practical.
I have experience teaching learners from different language backgrounds and always explain clearly in English when needed. You will receive focused homework, audio reading practice and gentle, precise correction after each lesson. My aim is to help you progress steadily, speak with confidence and truly enjoy discovering Mandarin and Chinese culture.
