Having over 10years experience in playing and teaching the piano, my lessons are concise, direct, and highly understandable. I have a seamless workflow that allows for easy comprehension, and assimilation of what is taught.
As for the practical, I love for my students to have access to a piano as this makes it easy for them to rehearse in real time.
With a structured teaching pattern designed specifically for each person and aimed at meeting their different needs, it is possible to set monthly achievements targets.
Contrary to the conventional approach most people follow in the aspect of learning to sound like the teacher, i encourage my students to lean in and cultivate their sound. They could borrow structures from others and myself, make it theirs, and sound like themselves. I have a philosophy (which many others agree with) that every musician has a peculiar sound. It may be similar to another person's, but not the same. So, I teach, train, and point you in the direction of your sound. You'd find a sense of uniqness and to a degree, satisfaction, when you play and sound like yourself.
Besides beginners, I can help those who are already pianists to have a deeper sense of music and musicianship. Knowing what to play, when to play it, and how to play it, are three key things that make pianists and even musicians generally to stand out among others in the field. Approaching music with the mindset of a producer, even as a pianist, is a 'must have' for every one in the field.
