I’m an ESL Portuguese and Spanish tutor offering practical, confidence-focused lessons designed around real communication.

Lessons are usually 1:1 (or small groups) and structured but flexible. Each session mixes speaking, listening, reading, and writing, with a strong emphasis on conversation and pronunciation. Grammar is explained clearly and then applied straight away, so it actually sticks.

We work with real-life topics such as travel, work, everyday situations, and culture, using role-plays, short texts, videos, and guided conversation. You’ll speak a lot, make mistakes comfortably, and build fluency naturally. Lessons are always adapted to your level, goals, and interests- whether you’re a beginner or more advanced.

I have experience teaching children and adults in after-school and community settings, as well as professional experience translating and interpreting Spanish and Portuguese in medical and legal contexts. As a multilingual speaker myself, I understand the challenges learners face and how to overcome them.
