I am a native English speaker from South Africa with over 20 years of experience in education, spanning classroom teaching, sports coaching and coordination and school counselling. My career includes work in government schools, private institutions and international schools, teaching learners from early childhood (age 3) through to senior high school (age 18). I am known for a strong work ethic and a commitment to lifelong learning; beyond my regular professional responsibilities, I consistently pursue further qualifications and professional development to enhance my practice.

Current professional responsibilities include:
• Providing individual and small-group counselling for students
• Teaching AP Psychology
• Supporting neurodivergent students and learners with special educational needs
• Student mentoring and pastoral support
• Facilitating college and university preparation programmes for senior students
• Delivering Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) classes

As a School Counsellor and AP Psychology teacher, I bring a trauma-informed, growth-oriented and holistic approach, nurturing students’ cognitive, emotional, physical and character development. My combination of counselling expertise, cultural adaptability, athletic discipline and creative engagement aligns strongly with a mission to develop confident, resilient and globally minded learners.
