In my lessons, I would like to have more interactions and conversations with the students. I believe that everyone has their own way to learn maths quickly, so by encouraging the students to talk more and ask more questions, I can deliver my knowledge as concise as possible in a way that they understand best. More specifically, in my lessons, I would like to first teach students the essential knowledge. Then I would try solving questions with them and by asking them to talk more and dissecting their thought process, I would hope to identify the gaps in knowledge or shortcomings of the students and provide a method suitable for them in solving probelms. In terms of lesson content, while the main goal of the lessons is to help students with exams, I would love to talk more about other aspects of maths if it proves to be useful or interesting to them. I am more than happy accommodate curious students that want to learn more. In the past, I have completed a degree in Computer Science in UCL, where I managed to navigate very difficult mathematics and solidified a very solid knowledge background for myself. I also used to be a top class Maths Olympiad competitor and has been a tutor for younger students in MO, in which I find important experience in teaching.
