I am a native Mandarin speaker from China and I offer friendly, personalised Chinese lessons for learners of different levels. My lessons are suitable for beginners, students, and anyone who wants to improve their Mandarin speaking, listening, pronunciation, vocabulary and confidence.

I believe language learning should be practical, clear and enjoyable. In my lessons, I will first understand your current level, goals and learning needs, then tailor the lesson content to suit you. For beginners, I can help with Pinyin, tones, basic vocabulary, simple sentence structures and everyday conversation. For students with some previous knowledge, I can support speaking practice, listening comprehension, reading, writing and cultural understanding.

My teaching style is patient, encouraging and student-centred. I will explain things clearly, give useful examples, and create opportunities for you to practise during the lesson. I can also help learners understand Chinese culture, common expressions and real-life communication situations.

I have strong communication, listening and problem-solving skills developed through over ten years of professional HR experience. This background has helped me become patient, approachable and confident when supporting people from different backgrounds. My aim is to create a relaxed and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and improving step by step.
