I’m a native Mandarin speaker from Taiwan with experience teaching students of all ages and backgrounds, both online and in person. In my lessons, I always adapt to your goals and interests. Whether you’re a beginner learning pinyin, bopomofo, and basic grammar, or an advanced learner looking to improve your fluency and understand cultural nuances, I’ve got you covered. Lessons may include speaking practice, vocabulary building, Chinese idioms, reading short stories or news articles, watching videos, and writing exercises—all tailored to your level.
I’m also happy to teach both traditional and simplified characters, and I can explain cultural differences between Taiwan and mainland China if you're interested.
My teaching style is friendly, creative, and supportive. I like to incorporate storytelling, visual aids, and even a bit of humour to make lessons more enjoyable. I regularly check in with students to adjust our focus and help you stay motivated.
