Yaqi

I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in English Studies in Nanjing in 2020. In the same year, I began my master's degree in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language. In 2022, I travelled to the United States to work as a Chinese language teaching assistant at a middle school. After returning to China, I taught Chinese to students from Germany, India, Japan, and other countries, helping them improve their language skills. These experiences allowed me to develop my teaching methods and gain valuable cross-cultural experience.

From 2023 to 2024, I worked in Scotland as a Mandarin teacher at a university and a language institute.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy music, sports, dramas, and films. I am passionate about intercultural communication and believe that learning Chinese can bring people from different backgrounds closer together and foster greater understanding across cultures.
