Weixi Li

I am currently an Accounting and Finance student at the University of Warwick, with a strong academic background in Mathematics and Economics. In my A-Level examinations, I achieved A* in Pure Mathematics, A in Further Mathematics, A in Economics, and A* in Chinese. These results reflect both subject mastery and a clear understanding of exam techniques, which I now pass on to my students.

I teach Mathematics and Economics at primary, lower secondary, and upper secondary levels, with particular expertise in A-Level preparation. I am highly familiar with exam board requirements, common question types, and effective strategies for achieving top grades. In addition, as a native Chinese speaker, I offer Chinese language lessons tailored to learners of different ages and proficiency levels.

I have two years of tutoring experience, during which my students have demonstrated consistent and measurable improvement in both grades and confidence. My lessons are structured, goal-oriented, and adapted to each student’s needs. I begin by assessing current ability, identifying knowledge gaps, and setting clear targets. Lessons combine concept explanation, guided practice, exam-style questions, and regular feedback to ensure steady progress.

I place strong emphasis on building fundamental understanding rather than rote memorisation. My aim is not only to help students achieve excellent results, but also to develop analytical thinking and long-term academic confidence.
