I’m a native Spanish tutor from Spain with a BA in Primary Education (specialisations in English & Music) and a Master’s in Special & Inclusive Education (in progress). I specialise in young learners and create lessons that are playful, structured, and confidence-building. While my experience is with children, I’m happy and open to teaching teen and adult beginners who want clear, practical communication from day one.

Lesson format & dynamics: Online classes run on Zoom/Google Meet with shared presentations (I like to use Genially). A typical one hour lesson includes: a short warm-up (song/TPR), quick review, clear presentation of new language in context (stories, visuals), guided practice, a game or task, and a reflection to consolidate learning. I recycle vocabulary for retention, and set light, optional practice with Wordwall or short creative tasks between lessons.
Before the first lesson, I send a short parent questionnaire to learn goals, interests, and any additional needs. The first class is relaxed and rapport-building: we get to know each other through simple games and chats, with a low-pressure baseline check embedded in the activities. This lets me tailor themes, pacing, and scaffolds to the learner’s interests and learning style.

Methods & materials: I use (and believe in) immersive environments. From minute one, learners hear as much Spanish as possible with generous scaffolds: visuals, gestures, sentence frames, and clear routines so meaning stays comprehensible. I blend communicative, multisensory, and task-based approaches with comprehensible input, TPR, story-based activities, songs, and role-play. Themes are child-friendly and culture-rich (family, food, school, festivals), and I differentiate tasks and pacing to support diverse needs, including learners with reading difficulties.

Feedback & progress: After lessons, I share brief notes (targets covered, wins, next steps). Every few weeks, you’ll receive a simple progress snapshot.
