I am an experienced online Mathematics tutor with over three years of teaching students from different international curricula, including the UK (Years 5–11, GCSE, A-Level, O-Level), Canadian boards, Australian schools (NAPLAN), and US elementary and middle school levels. My exposure to diverse education systems has helped me understand different learning styles, exam patterns, and assessment requirements, allowing me to tailor my teaching accordingly.

My strongest quality as a teacher is patience and clarity. I believe Mathematics should feel logical and approachable, not intimidating. I focus on building strong foundational concepts before moving to advanced problem-solving, ensuring students truly understand the “why” behind every method. I am supportive, encouraging, and firm where discipline is needed, helping students develop confidence, consistency, and independent thinking.

My teaching methods are highly interactive and student-centred. I use digital concept boards, step-by-step explanations, visual representations, and real-time problem solving during Google Meet sessions. Lessons include guided practice, exam-style questions, and regular revision to strengthen retention. I adapt my pace based on the student’s ability and regularly assess progress through quizzes and homework review.

I also focus on exam techniques, time management, and error analysis, helping students avoid common mistakes. My goal is not only to improve grades but also to develop a positive attitude towards Mathematics, making students feel confident, capable, and motivated to learn independently.
