Mathematics is a cross-cutting subject that links into various other subjects. Mathematics is a core subject that provides a solid foundation for future life prospects and increases the probability of success in other core subjects such as Science and English.

I am a current PGCE teacher trainee with a pure degree in the subject I am looking to teach, Mathematics. I have two children ages 7 and 5 and am conscious of the difficulties and struggles that students are facing in schools. I am extremely passionate around Mathematics and believe that Maths is a subject that is vital to the development of students' minds. I have followed up this passion by ensuring that I can bring it with me to the classroom by becoming a fully qualified Maths teacher.

My teaching style relies on creative explanations and making concepts/topics engaging by relating them to real-life situations.
