My lessons are structured, interactive, and fully tailored to each student’s learning needs and academic goals. I begin each session by briefly reviewing previously covered material to reinforce long-term understanding and identify any weak areas. This helps build a strong foundation before introducing new content. I then guide students through key science topics using clear explanations, diagrams, and real examples to make complex ideas easier to grasp.

A core part of my teaching approach is repeated revision—regularly revisiting important concepts to strengthen memory and improve confidence. I also incorporate targeted exam questions throughout the lesson so students become comfortable with exam formats, command words, and common question styles. This ensures that learning is not only theoretical but closely aligned with what examiners are looking for.

My experience includes several years of A-level tutoring, alongside extensive online teaching through webinars and virtual teaching programmes. I have delivered national webinars and run weekly case-based online sessions for students, which has taught me how to keep lessons engaging, clear, and effective in an online environment. I bring this experience into every tutorial, making sure sessions are dynamic and easy to follow.

Lessons usually end with a short summary and agreed tasks for the next session, helping students stay organised and consistent in their revision. Above all, my lessons are supportive and encouraging. I aim to create a space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing the confidence needed to excel in biology and achieve their full potential.
