I’m all about creating a fun and inclusive space for learning Spanish and English. From day one, I get my students immersed in the language, helping them build confidence and fluency. I focus on low-pressure speaking exercises to help them feel comfortable expressing themselves.

Cultural insights are key, so I love sharing the rich heritage of Latin America and Spain or the United Kingdom and the United States for my English learners. This not only deepens their connection to the language but also opens their eyes to the cultures behind it. I use original Spanish and English texts, like short stories and news articles, to boost their reading skills and keep things interesting. Plus, as a published author, I provide writing coaching and feedback to help them sharpen their skills.

I’ve been teaching various age groups since moving to London from Venezuela in 2007. I hold a First Class Honours Degree in Comparative Literature from Emory University and completed my PGCE at St Mary’s University Twickenham. My mission is to spark a love for Spanish and English and its cultures in my students.

Writing is a big part of my life too! I published a novel and share my experiences on my blog, From Caracas to London. I’m passionate about Cultural Heritage, often diving into UNESCO resources, and I love exploring language nuances, especially in Spanish, English and Italian. After my lessons, my students leave feeling positive, proud of their speaking attempts, and excited about the cultural tidbits they’ve learned along the way!
