Relationships and trust really matter when learning so I work hard to get to know my students to enable me to tailor my lessons to their needs and interests. I work with many different needs and abilities throughout the primary school level and can support your child or young person to learn to read (including phonics and reading comprehension techniques), write and do maths - as well as other areas of the primary curriculum as wanted/required. I can also work with older students working at a primary school level in order to support catching up to their peers.

As a qualified special education needs coordinator (SENDCO), helping neurodivergent students with their learning is a huge passion of mine. Whether it’s Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia or DCD - I can help. Many children with these characteristics find learning in a busy classroom difficult - tailored 1:1 sessions are great to ensure that children continue to make progress.

Within my in-person sessions, I use a variety of whiteboard, practical and paper-based activities, including some digital resources. I can travel to you or to a local quiet space to deliver in-person sessions.

When working online, I will do my best to keep things as practical as possible to support those early developmental needs through to paper based and digital activities.
