My lessons are carefully structured, engaging, and learner-centred, designed to make Biology both meaningful and enjoyable. I begin each lesson with a stimulating question, real-life scenario, or visual prompt to spark curiosity and activate prior knowledge. This is followed by clear, well-paced explanations supported by demonstrations, diagrams, and interactive discussions. I incorporate hands-on activities, simple investigations, and collaborative tasks to ensure learners actively explore scientific concepts rather than passively receive information. Guided practice and purposeful questioning are used throughout to check understanding and deepen critical thinking.

With solid experience teaching young learners, I have developed the ability to break down complex biological concepts into simple, relatable ideas that are age-appropriate and accessible to all ability levels. I use differentiated strategies to support diverse learners, ensuring that each pupil is both challenged and supported. Assessment for learning is embedded in my lessons through observation, questioning, short tasks, and feedback, allowing me to monitor progress and address misconceptions promptly.
