Victor Anokwu

I am a music teacher with over ten years of experience in teaching both theory and practical music. Over the past years, my competency in this field has made me work with schools as a full-time/part-time music teacher, churches as a pianist and music director, bands and musical artistes.

With my wealth of knowledge and experience in this field, I have built a well structured plan in nurturing students' interest in playing the piano and in other areas of musical development. My duties includes but not limited to teaching; proper finger placement, understanding keys structure, instrumental techniques, scales and fingering patterns, chords and chord progressions, piano pieces, basic rudiments, musical theory and sight reading. I prepare students for standard piano graded exams such as ABRSM and help in developing their performance skills for piano and other instrumental recitals.

I am passionate about teaching and believe in the transformative power of music education. I strive to not only teach my students to be proficient musicians but also to instil valuable life skills and build creativity in them. I am dedicated to incorporating a diverse range of musical styles and artistry into my curriculum to engage and inspire students.
I also write songs, compose both vocal and instrumental music and teach the recorder instrument as well.

I offer lessons both in-person and online which makes it flexible for students' preference.
