As a tutor with a strong background in the arts and experience teaching a range of other subjects, I offer lessons that are creative, flexible, and tailored to suit your child’s individual learning style and needs.

My teaching approach focuses on building both understanding and confidence. At the start of each session, I review previous material to help your child retain key concepts and identify any gaps in knowledge. We then move on to new topics, which I break down into simple, manageable steps using clear explanations, visual aids, and interactive methods. I often incorporate creative techniques—especially helpful for visual or hands-on learners—to make even complex topics easier to understand and more enjoyable to engage with.

While I specialise in teaching art and creative subjects, I also support students in areas like English, reading, writing, and primary-level maths and science. I adapt each lesson depending on the subject and the child’s goals, whether that’s catching up, preparing for school exams, building study habits, or just growing their confidence.

I create a calm, supportive space where children feel comfortable to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn at their own pace. I also provide optional practice exercises and regular updates to parents, so you’re always informed of your child’s progress.
