My lessons are dynamic, highly personalised and designed to get you speaking Italian with confidence from the very beginning. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all programme, I adapt each session to your level, interests and goals, whether you are learning Italian for travel, work, university, exams or simply for the pleasure of communicating in another language.

Conversation is at the heart of my teaching. During each lesson, we use practical, real-life situations to develop your fluency, vocabulary and pronunciation, while grammar is introduced clearly and naturally to support your communication. I create engaging online materials tailored specifically to you, including interactive presentations, authentic texts, videos and targeted exercises. I also provide personalised homework so that you can consolidate what you have learned and continue making progress between lessons.

I hold a PhD in Italian Studies and have extensive experience teaching Italian at UK universities and to adult learners, from complete beginners to advanced students. I also offer Italian for specific professional purposes, including medical Italian for healthcare students and professionals.

My aim is to create a supportive, encouraging and intellectually stimulating environment where you feel comfortable speaking, asking questions and making mistakes. Every lesson is carefully structured, but always flexible, enjoyable and centred on helping you use Italian confidently in real-life situations.
