Hello! I am Valeria, a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker based in London, offering online Portuguese lessons for adults and children of all levels.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s goals: whether you want to hold a conversation, prepare for a trip to Brazil, connect with Brazilian culture, or build a solid foundation from scratch. I believe language learning should feel natural and enjoyable, not stressful.

With a degree in Psychology and over 20 years of professional experience in coaching, communication, and people development, I know how to adapt my approach to different learning styles. I am patient, encouraging, and focused on helping you build real confidence in speaking and understanding Portuguese.

My lessons are structured but flexible. We can work on conversation practice, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, or a mix of everything, depending on what you need most. I use real-life materials such as music, videos, and everyday situations to make the learning experience engaging and practical.

I am a mother, a consultant, and someone who has lived between Brazil and the UK for many years. This gives me a unique perspective on the language and culture that I love sharing with my students.
