My lessons are entirely tailored around the individual student’s needs, goals, and learning style. I like to begin with an informal introductory chat to understand why the student wants to learn Italian, what level they are currently at, and what type of approach works best for them. From there, I create a personalised learning plan.

For example, if someone needs a crash course before a holiday in Italy, I would focus on practical vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational Italian that can be used in real-life situations. If a student needs Italian for work, I can focus more on industry-specific terminology, formal communication, and professional language. For students preparing for exams or qualifications, lessons would place greater emphasis on grammar, sentence structure, comprehension, and written Italian.

I am very flexible in the way I teach. Some students prefer a structured and methodical approach with exercises and planned topics, while others learn better through spontaneous conversation and immersion. I adapt the lessons accordingly to keep them engaging, productive, and suited to the student’s pace and confidence level.

With my background in Italian studies, Law, recruitment, and higher education, I can also support students who want to develop academic or professional language skills alongside everyday conversation.
