Hi! I am Valentina, a PhD student in Cultural and Media Studies, who has also been a language teacher for 17 years. I have experience teaching Italian, French, Media Studies, English as a Foreign/Second Language (EFL/ESL) and Academic Writing at various levels: make sure you check my credentials below!

What makes my lessons worth your time and money?

First and foremost, my dedication: I always do everything in my power to help my students succeed.
On top of that, I strive to make my lessons varied, creative, and tailored to learners' interests. My promise to my students is that I will learn what they are passionate about and how they learn, and I will make our classes revolve around that.

I have taught all ages between 2 and 67, having worked as an English teacher at nursery, but also as a facilitator of in-company business language classes. Currently, I am a lecturer in Italian Language and Culture at a top British higher-education institution, while previously I was a Teaching Affiliate in Screen Studies at a top-100 university.

Do you have ADHD, dyslexia, or are otherwise neurodivergent? I have already helped many students like you (and me!) reach their potential despite the obstacles placed in their way by society and the education system, and I look forward to giving my support to even more of us.
