So I teach mostly one to one. Engaging with the student, giving them the opportunity to have enough time to revise the lesson and then we try and work out the lesson together. Regarding the Holy Qur’an, I first teach the student the basic rules of Tajweed which is a must to be able to read the quran properly. Alongside that I tend to focus on perfecting the voice, inspiring the student to listen to different reciters and from amongst them, picking one and reading with that same tune until he is able to develop his own tune. Regarding Islamic studies, I teach the 4 fundamental subjects, which are: Beliefs, Manners, Jurisprudence and History. Having the correct beliefs is a must, after Beliefs comes Jurisprudence (how to live and act like a true muslim) this is more to do with spiritual worship. After that we have manners, so how to physically conduct oneself as a Muslim, what kind of attitude they should have with relatives, peers and people from other faiths. Lastly we are left with history. Going back to the first man Adam all the way till the final prophet Muhammad (PBUH). How islam started and how in just a few years , Islam began to spread in every part of the world until this day and age, it has been considered the fastest growing religion in the world. That's just a glimpse of my lessons, but you will need to have some to fully understand them. Join now and give it a go!
