My Skills

I am passionate about biology and enjoy helping students understand challenging topics in a simple and engaging way. I have strong knowledge of key biology topics such as cells, genetics, human biology, ecology, evolution, and practical science. I am patient, friendly, and able to explain difficult concepts clearly. I also help students develop exam techniques, improve their confidence, and can practise answering exam-style questions.

What My Lessons Are Like

My lessons are friendly, interactive, and tailored to each student’s needs and learning style. We usually begin by identifying the topics the student finds difficult and setting clear goals for the lesson. I then explain the topic step by step using simple explanations, diagrams, examples, and questions.

Lessons can include revision, practice questions, quizzes, and exam-style tasks. I encourage students to ask questions and actively participate rather than simply listening. At the end of each lesson, we review what has been learned and identify areas to practise before the next session.

I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. Whether you need help understanding a difficult biology topic, preparing for an exam, or improving your overall confidence, I can adapt lessons to suit your individual needs.
