My name is Tyrese, and I am an active school Teaching Assistant with a Grade 8 in GCSE Maths. My hands-on experience in the classroom has given me a solid understanding of how young learners process mathematical concepts, where common stumbling blocks occur, and how to build long-term confidence in students of all abilities.

I offer supportive 1-on-1 Maths tutoring for Primary, Key Stage 3, and Foundation GCSE students. I firmly believe that every student can excel in Maths when topics are broken down into logical, manageable steps rather than relying on rote memorisation.

How Lessons Are Structured
Every 60-minute session is tailored around the student's specific curriculum and learning pace:

• Warm-Up & Knowledge Check (10 mins): We review core concepts and clear up any lingering doubts from previous homework or lessons.

• Core Concept Breakdown (20 mins): I introduce new topics—such as algebra, fractions, percentages, or ratio—using step-by-step visual examples and practical demonstrations.

• Guided & Independent Practice (20 mins): We tackle exam-style questions together to master problem-solving techniques before the student attempts questions independently.

• Review & Feedback (10 mins): We consolidate what was learned and set achievable goals for next time.
