Each lesson will be adapted the the students needs and desires but the main basic structure would look like keeping a concentration on verbal activities just as much as on writing activities e.g using whiteboards and creating flashcards in theme with the topic of the week for example. I would like to keep the student speaking more then me the teacher because when learning a language the best way to retain the information learnt is by speaking it but I will be there to help with pronunciation etc. I am very open to using different techniques for the student to help them enjoy the lessons more but continue to learn and improve at the same time. it is also important to consider that an online session would be of course slightly more different to an in person one so it hard to say exactly how a lesson would look.
online using zoom would allow me to show my presentation on the screen so that I can go through the different slides that I would have prepared prior to the session, together with the student because it helps keep them interacted and engaged throughout the full session.
