I have extensive as well as up-to-date experience of teaching English as a Foreign Language to students in Poland, Spain and also on summer schools in the UK, with learners from e.g. Saudi Arabia, South America, Africa, Turkey and many European countries. My lessons are carefully planned and aim to help students noticeably improve their ability to use grammar and vocabulary, and develop their Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing skills, as well as become more independent learners.
I use a range of published and my own materials to engage, inspire and help learners to achieve their goals. I am creative, personable, dynamic and love to teach. As well as teaching adults and some Business English, I have experience of teaching children and teenagers at all levels: I have taught levels from absolute beginner children and adults (CEFR level A1) to Cambridge English Proficiency (CEFR C2 level). My lessons are structured to suit my students, learner-centred and delivered with energy. I pride myself on having excellent language awareness and being able to help students to develop their English in a meaningful and quantifiable way.
My qualifications include the Cambridge English DELTA (Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults) with a Distinction in the Practical and a DipTESOL (post-graduate Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from the Institute of Education in London. I am also a freelance ELT materials editor and writer, mainly of Primary and Secondary English materials and also of tests.
