Friendly, Experienced English Teacher!

I am an enthusiastic, young, and engaging EFL instructor currently teaching at the Centre for English Studies, Oxford. I am new to the field of English language teaching, but I have been working with teenagers and young people in diverse educational contexts for over ten years. I have a strong passion for empowering youth to expand their skill sets in all areas, but especially that of language learning and literature.

I hold an honours undergraduate degree in English literature, and a 200-hour Level 5 (CELTA equivalent) TEFL certification. I have experience in a diverse range of teaching contexts with a diverse range of students, from teaching therapeutic horsemanship to disabled children to providing academic language tutoring to university students. My varied professional experience has given me the tenacity, flexibility, and enthusiasm to thrive in an EFL classroom. Teaching is where I feel most at home, and I take incredible joy in watching my students learn, grow, and push themselves to their highest potential.
