Trena

Hi, my English name is Trena.

Though my mother tongue is Chinese and my family members always speak Chinese with me, so of course I ended up growing up speaking Chinese as I attended Chinese kindergarten and primary school, took up Chinese until Form 5. Yet English has always been my favourite language as it is my first language to learn to read and write, plus I love reading and started as soon as I was sent to day care centre, so much until I managed to train myself to speed-read in order to finish my favourite novels quickly.

I have been a member of Toastmasters Club and also part of a debate team that participated in the contest sponsored and held by Malaysian Timber Council in November 2023.

So I can be tutoring on public speaking and debate too, with extra charges.

Practice makes perfect is my lifetime motto, a for sure way to increase confidence, thank you if you choose me.

Lessons will be curated according to needs (purpose, goal), standards and attention spans of students.

I will assure for beginners or people who want to learn English as second or foreign language especially that English is not as difficult, scary or complicated even to learn, but it is really quite interesting so I will try to make lessons enjoyable - no one enjoys a boring lesson including me!

Most of my students are children including foreign students who had holiday programmes with me.
