I have experience teaching in primary schools and tutoring friends at A level. My mum is a qualified dyslexia specialist, who has helped me hone the ability to tailor lessons to the students needs. I am also adept at helping people with autism and anxiety and helping them realise these can be assets in learning. I achieved an A* in English Literature and Language at A level and have spent weeks teaching in two different schools. I ask you to allow me the chance to help everyone to reach the highest level they're capable of. I plan to adjust lessons for each student, the first session will revolve around finding which revision method works best, as well as which learning method. Its important to understand that regular 'traditional' teaching methods don't apply to everyone. Not everyone learns through active conversations and listening, many learn better through image related learning and pattern recognition. If the person wishing to be tutored is doing so to pass an exam, pattern recognition and repetition is the best way for almost all minds. I managed to help my younger brother with dyslexia to achieve a 7 in GCSE English despite being predicted a high 3. If you allow me to help you, not only can i help you achieve your goal, but i am able to help you learn which methods and techniques work for you!
