Tom Morgan

I’m an experienced and passionate teacher with nearly 10 years of experience working with children and young people across the UK and internationally. I’ve taught across the full primary age range and worked in a range of settings and roles, including classroom teaching, one-to-one support, subject leadership and mentoring.

I believe every child has strengths and potential, and my role is to understand the individual in front of me and work out how to bring the best out of them. I build strong relationships based on trust, consistency and high expectations, creating an environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and challenging themselves.

I have a strong track record of academic success, with my classes consistently achieving above national averages. In my most recent year, approximately three times the national average of pupils achieved Greater Depth in Reading. I was also honoured with an Inspiring Children Award, recognising the positive impact I had on the children I worked with — helping them grow in confidence, believe in themselves, overcome challenges and recognise what they were capable of achieving.

My approach is holistic. I teach the curriculum, but I also help children develop the mindset, emotional intelligence, communication, resilience, independence and goal-setting skills that allow them to succeed. I want children to understand how they learn, recognise their strengths and become more confident in their own ability.

Alongside teaching, I have interviewed more than 60 leading athletes, psychologists, academics, educators and high performers. Speaking directly to people operating at the highest levels has taught me a huge amount about mindset, discipline, learning, performance, resilience and what enables people to achieve their potential. I bring those lessons into my teaching, helping children develop both academically and personally.
