My lessons are designed to be interactive, personalised, and enjoyable, with a strong focus on helping students feel confident using the language in real situations. I usually start each session with a short review or warm-up activity to reinforce what we covered previously, before moving into new content. This ensures steady progress and helps students build a strong foundation over time.

The format of the lessons combines all four key skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—but I always adapt the balance depending on the learner’s goals. For exam preparation, I provide structured grammar explanations, practice exercises, and past paper support. For those seeking conversational or professional Spanish/English, I emphasise role-plays, dialogues, and cultural insights drawn from my nine months living and working in Spain. I also like to use games, real-life materials, and topical discussions to keep lessons dynamic and engaging.

My experience as a Language Prefect, tutoring younger students in Spanish and French, gave me valuable insight into how to explain concepts clearly and motivate learners of different ages. Combined with my academic background in Spanish and Economics and my practical immersion abroad, I bring both linguistic knowledge and cultural authenticity into my teaching.

Above all, I create a supportive and encouraging environment where mistakes are seen as a natural part of learning. My goal is to adapt to each student’s pace and needs, whether they are complete beginners, preparing for important exams, or aiming to refine their fluency for work and travel. I believe that learning a language should be both rewarding and fun, and I am committed to helping each student achieve lasting results.
