I recently completed a PhD in biochemical engineering and have strong expertise across maths, biology, physics, and chemistry. I'm here to share my love for STEM and inspire students about the potential of science and engineering to transform our world for the better by highlight real-world innovations related to their learning. For those interested, my PhD research was on muscle cell metabolism to improve cultivated meat manufacturing!
I have tutored GCSE and A-level students part-time for several years as part of both voluntary schemes and paid opportunities primarily through MyTutor. I have tutored both maths and general sciences and have thoroughly enjoyed the process. I am now looking to take that experience private.
Your first session will always be free, during which I will identify existing competencies and areas to improve. I will then create a custom plan for the student based on the end goal and the time available. I also teach students how to approach problems with critical thinking, tips to revise effectively, and support in the making of revision materials like flash cards and summary notes pages. If you have any additional requests, I am always happy to discuss your needs and help as best I can.
I am available to tutor both in-person at your home (within Zone 3 London), at my home (East London), or online via Zoom using a digital collaborative whiteboard.
Whatever your goals, I look forward to working with you to achieve them – so please get in touch and we can discuss how I can help.
