As Distance Learning coordinator and an only Faculty member over the past 10 years, I constantly strive to meet the objectives set forth by my teaching institution (Learning Objectives, Course Outcomes, etc.).
My online courses are constantly promoting the sense of Participation, along with promoting self-motivation and online research skills.
Personally, I’ve always promoted Faculty involvement in an online course. It is important for the Professor to demonstrate that they are participating in the course, along with the students.
