Tina Roberts

Tina is a highly experienced tutor, who builds an excellent rapport with the student. She uses her lovely calm demeanour and fun sense of humour to engage the student, and can help them realise their potential. Tina is firm but fair and will tailor sessions to the students' interests and individual needs and style of learning. I would not hesitate to recommend Tina; she is fabulous!

Tasks were broken down for understanding, different ways of learning were shown, worked at the pace for the student, differentiation in topics to show how they link together. This helped my son to understand and improved his understanding of the topic so it engaged him in his learning and grades improved in a happy learning environment.

Tina ensured my nephew’s (year 5) sessions correlate with both his targets and those of the National curriculum within his core subjects- maths and English. She is clearly knowledgeable about the curriculum and has exposed him to a variety of learning methods from more interactive learning with the use of concrete learning as well as the more traditional exam style, written methods. My nephew actually looks forward to his weekly sessions with Tina and we feel as though she is approachable, friendly (and flexible)! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
