As a life coach, my approach is warm, structured, and student-focused. I aim to create a space where young people feel understood, supported, and able to explore what they want from their studies and from themselves. My background in psychodynamic counselling training shapes the way I work: I pay close attention to the thoughts, feelings, and patterns that influence a student’s confidence and motivation. Rather than analysing in a clinical way, I use these insights to help students understand what might be holding them back and how to move forward with greater clarity.
In sessions, I combine reflective conversation with practical tools. We look at goals, challenges, habits, and strengths, and then break everything down into steps that feel manageable. Students often arrive feeling overwhelmed or unsure where to begin; my role is to guide them into a clearer sense of direction. I do this by asking thoughtful questions, listening closely, and helping them recognise their own abilities rather than telling them what to do.
I also believe that progress comes from consistency and support, so each session builds on the last. Together, we track what’s working, adjust what isn’t, and celebrate the small wins that build confidence. Whether a student is struggling with organisation, motivation, life transitions, or personal challenges, I focus on helping them understand themselves better, make steady progress, and develop skills they can rely on long after coaching ends.
