I have experience in teaching English at various levels, so I am able to tailor my lessons to the needs of my individual students, depending on the areas in which they require tuition.

I am equally happy to tailor lessons towards personal/conversational needs or to teach more formal English to assist with the student's professional life.

I have previously taught both English to groups of learners and also on a one-to-one basis to people from all walks of life, from countries all over the world. I prefer to teach English on a one-to-one basis as it allows me to concentrate on the student's individual requirements and lessons can be planned around this. I am versatile in terms of how to achieve the best results depending on the student's level of ability. Most of the lessons I have taught up to now have been or around one hour's duration, but again I am happy to vary this depending on the student's individual needs.

I am fluent in English language and I also have a background in journalism, creative writing and editing of text, so accuracy in English is essential for me. I would hope to help students to attain a better level of proficiency and to feel more confident in their own usage of the language. I also believe that the only way to really master the nuances of the English language is to practice speaking it regularly, so if at all possible, I like to base the emphasis on conversation.
