I am predicted 8-9s on my gcses, so i have 10 subjects i am well-versed in. these include:

maths
biology (combined)
physics (combined)
chemistry (combined)
psychology
sociology
history
french
english language
enlish literature (inspector calls, macbeth, a christmas carol, power and conflict poetry)

On top of this, I have coaching and refereeing experience so i am great with kids.

I aim to inspire kids who may not feel very confident academically - whether struggling with low self esteem or burnout, etc - to not only realise their capabilities but be proud and enjoy it. There's nothing more rewarding than finally understanding something you thought you never would!

I have learnt from experience that the best way to not only motivates kids but also see results is to learn what works best for them. For example, I would not only tailor specific plans directly to my students as individuals but also provide and recommend specific methods, matierals and websites that i think will benefit them. I feel a personalised plan is the only way to allow students to not only learn at their own pace in the most effective and beneficial way possible, but also to prevent them from becoming overwhelmed and burning out.

It is important to me that every student enjoys my sessions and feels theyre beneficial. And if this is not the case, I would hope they would feel comfortable enough to adress it with me and let me know how i can help them and what each of us need to work on.
