I am a dedicated and supportive tutor in the final year of my physics PhD, offering guidance in both mathematics and physics.
My approach focuses on building confidence through clear explanation, structured problem-solving, and developing a deep understanding of core concepts. By working closely with students and encouraging curiosity, I identify weak areas and strengthen them systematically.
Rather than relying on repetition and memorisation alone, I help students develop a robust toolbox of techniques that can be applied flexibly across different problems, including those outside of the classroom. Lessons are tailored to the student, ensuring a supportive and helpful environment, while encouraging independent thinking and academic growth.
My subject expertise is supported by extensive teaching experience, including 3.5 years as an undergraduate teaching assistant leading physics and mathematics workshops, alongside 4 years of private tuition. I have supported students across a wide academic range, from KS3 through to university level, helping them improve grades, deepen understanding, and approach exams with confidence. I have also been a peer and widening-participation mentor during my studies, providing pastoral care and academic coaching.
My aim is to create a positive, reinforcing and focused learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing skills, and achieving their potential.
