My maths lessons are designed to be clear, structured, and focused on helping students genuinely understand the topic rather than just memorising steps. I adapt each lesson to the student’s current level, pace, and learning style, so whether they need support with basic number skills, algebra, geometry, problem-solving, or exam practice, the lesson is built around what will help them improve most.
I usually begin by identifying the areas the student finds difficult, then I break concepts down into simple steps and explain them in a way that is easy to follow. Once the student understands the method, we work through examples together before moving on to independent practice. This helps build both confidence and accuracy. I also use regular recap questions throughout the lesson to make sure the student is not just following along, but actually understanding.
My teaching method is patient, encouraging, and results-focused. I believe students do best when they feel comfortable asking questions, so I create a supportive environment where they can learn without feeling pressured. I use guided explanation, worked examples, repetition where needed, and targeted practice to strengthen weaker areas. For students preparing for tests or exams, I also include timed questions, revision techniques, and step-by-step exam method training so they know how to approach questions properly.
Lessons can be tailored for homework support, revision, catching up in class, or building stronger long-term maths skills. My aim is not only to improve grades, but also to help students become more confident, independent, and comfortable with maths over time.
