Read my reviews if you really want to know what I'm like - my students know me best! All I can say is I love teaching, and hope some of that enjoyment comes across. Eighteen of them took A-level maths or Further Maths in the summer of '26. Twelve of them achieved an A or A*, and all reached their first choice university. Meanwhile at GCSE again my students were pleased with their results - especially two of them who had no confidence at all in maths, but both achieved a pass. I've been a private tutor for the past ten years, and have tutored over 200 students. I use Zoom and Notability to make my tuition quick, clear and accessible and to enable you to speak and direct what we do. You choose topics or we go through exam papers to help you to write clear, well-explained solutions. I have revision sheets and introductory notes of my own design, and I can teach any level of maths, from GCSE through to Oxford and Cambridge entrance. I have taught for entrance exam to top schools in the UK and abroad, and for specialist institutions like Sandhurst Military Academy. As a class teacher I taught in top schools in Bristol UK and in state schools. I was Head of Mathematics, Director of Studies and Deputy Head of(Academic) at QEH, Bristol, in charge of everything concerning teaching and learning. I was an Independent Schools Inspector and a member of Independent Schools Council's mathematics Experts Group.
