I tutor learners from Grade 7 to first-year university level in algebra, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, and exam prep. My teaching style is clear, patient, and interactive. I don’t just “show the steps.” We start by finding gaps in understanding, then I use visuals, real-life examples, and step-by-step questioning so students build the logic themselves. For every lesson I prepare practice problems that match their level and goals, whether it’s catching up, homework help, or acing finals.
Online teaching is about engagement. I use Zoom/Teams + a digital whiteboard so we can work problems together in real time, like we’re at the same desk. I also share short summary notes after each session so students can review without rewatching the whole class. I give specific, encouraging feedback and track progress so both the student and parent can see improvement.
I’m reliable, punctual, and I adapt to different learning paces. A student who’s “bad at maths” is usually just someone who missed one key idea. My job is to find that idea and fix it. I’m comfortable teaching one-on-one and small groups, and I’m available evenings and weekends to match student schedules.
I’d love to help your students build skills and confidence in maths. Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to discussing how I can contribute
