I have extensive teaching experience, including working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at a public university in Sri Lanka. I also worked as an online Maths Tutor with Third Space Learning in London for 1.5 years, delivering over 500 one-to-one sessions for KS2 to GCSE students includind SAT and GCSE revision programs. In addition, I taught Biology, Chemistry and Maths at Stempire Academy, in Colombo, Sri Lanka, covering Edexcel and Cambridge International curricula for IGCSE and A-Level students. I am flexible, punctual and very friendly person to talk so the students can easily approach to me.

My lessons are structured, interactive, and tailored to each student’s needs. I preferred to conduct one-to-one sessions to students to get better understanding about the student´s current subject knowledge. so I begin with a quick review and pre-assess the student by asking lesson related questions , once found the gap in knowledge and misconceptions and clarify them first. then I will start to introduce concepts slowly using clear explanations and real world examples, and then guide student through practice questions with increasing difficulty. Finally I will post assess the student to check their level of understanding about the lesson by asking questions. I encourage active participation and create a supportive environment where students feel confident to ask questions and clarify their doubts.

With over 500 one-to-one sessions of experience, I focus on developing strong understanding, effective exam techniques, and confidence. My lessons include regular feedback, targeted revision, and exam-style practice to help students achieve their best results.
