Having completed a degree in Mathematics, I have mastered the curriculum from GCSE and A-Level through to advanced undergraduate topics. Over the years, I have perfected highly effective revision and study techniques designed to build genuine understanding and long-term retention. My goal is to pass these strategies on to my students, making mathematics both approachable and engaging.

Teaching Experience
- I have organised and ran small-group workshops for Year 12 students focusing on university entrance exam preparation, a programme managed by the university.
- I spent an academic year teaching core mathematical concepts to lower-year students, marking homework, and providing genuinely actionable feedback.
- I tailored private lessons for family and friends, building a strong foundation in clear, patient, and effective communication.

My Teaching Approach
I believe one-to-one tutoring works best when adapted dynamically to what each student needs in every session:
- I explain the 'why' behind formulas, often going slightly beyond the standard syllabus, because true confidence comes from deep understanding. This is the most important part of learning maths.
- The best way to bridge abstract concepts is with clear, relatable illustrations before tackling exam equations.
- Finally, we work through exam-style questions and any specific problems students bring to class. Once a concept is mastered, I provide challenging extension problems to stretch their thinking and push for the grades they deserve.
