My lessons are friendly, structured, and focused on building both confidence and understanding. Each session begins by identifying what the student already knows in Computer Science and Maths, and what they would like to improve. I then introduce new ideas using clear explanations and worked examples before moving into guided practice. Students actively apply their learning through coding tasks, problem-solving, and maths-based reasoning, with support and feedback throughout.
I have experience teaching Computer Science, Maths, and Python programming, and I place strong emphasis on logical thinking, algorithms, and the mathematical foundations that support coding, such as algebra, sequences, and problem-solving strategies. Lessons are adapted to suit each learner’s pace, whether they need to revisit fundamentals, build confidence, or be challenged further. I regularly check understanding and encourage students to explain their thinking, helping them develop independence and exam confidence.
My teaching style is calm, patient, and encouraging. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. Whether preparing for KS3, KS4, or GCSE exams, improving Maths skills, or gaining confidence in Python, my lessons are practical, clear, and motivating.
