About Me

Hello! I'm Teja, a passionate musician, producer and piano teacher with over 20 years of piano experience. I hold a BA (Hons) in Popular Music and an MA in Record Production, and I've spent many years performing, composing, producing music and helping others develop their musical abilities.

Alongside teaching, I write and produce original music and have released my own songs on streaming platforms. My background combines classical piano training with contemporary music, allowing me to teach a wide range of styles, from classical foundations to modern pop and songwriting.

My Teaching Style

I believe learning the piano should be enjoyable, inspiring and rewarding. Every student is different, so I tailor each lesson to your goals, experience and learning style. Whether you're a complete beginner, returning to the piano after a break, or looking to improve your technique, I'll create lessons that help you progress with confidence.

My lessons are patient, encouraging and structured, with a focus on building strong fundamentals while keeping the learning process engaging. I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and celebrating their progress.

I also prepare students for ABRSM examinations up to Grade 4, or we can simply focus on learning for enjoyment without following an exam syllabus.
