Hello! I’m an experienced Mathematics teacher and tutor with 9+ years of teaching experience, with a strong focus on helping students understand Maths rather than simply memorising formulas.

I have taught Mathematics across different grade levels and have worked with students with varying abilities, from those who need help building their foundations to those preparing for important examinations. My teaching experience has given me a strong understanding of how to break challenging concepts into simple, manageable steps.

My lessons are interactive, structured and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I begin by identifying the student’s current level, strengths and areas for improvement. I then adapt my lessons accordingly, using clear explanations, worked examples, practice questions and exam-style problems. I encourage students to explain their thinking because understanding why a method works is just as important as getting the correct answer.

For GCSE/IGCSE students, I place particular emphasis on exam technique, problem-solving, mathematical reasoning and avoiding common mistakes. We can work through past-paper questions, identify weak topics and develop strategies to approach unfamiliar questions with confidence.

I believe Maths should feel challenging but not intimidating. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and trying again.
