I am a friendly and enthusiastic individual, willing to help students learn more biology to help them advance in their education!

I have completed a biomedical science degree with first class honours and now work in the field of medical research, predominantly drug market access in the UK. As a result, I am very up to date with biology literature and understand it very well. I have previously tutored biology GCSE students whilst studying biology at A-level.

In our first session we will introduce ourselves to each other and I will learn about what your areas of weakness are in biology, what you would like more support in and what you aim to gain from your sessions. I will teach you via PowerPoint presentations that are catered to the aspects you wish to learn more on which you can takeaway and save, and will provide you with work sheets, quizzes, interactive games, example exam questions to work through and will ask you if you want homework to takeaway. I understand the pressures of handling homework from your school for all lessons combined therefore I will always give you a choice of how much homework you are willing to do. Throughout the sessions I will pause for questions and answers to ensure you are understanding the content. Each session will follow a format of content teaching, questions and answers in between, 2-4 exam questions and a game or quiz to round off. If at any point you wish to alter the teaching methods, you are more than welcome to express your thought as I am very happy to adapt.

My goal is to ensure that I strengthen your knowledge in biology and help you secure the grade you desire.
