I have knowledge on topics such as: climate science, earth systems, natural resources, ecosystems and biodiversity, energy systems and sustainability practices.
My experience working with younger children and children with special needs means I feel confident in making complex topics more easy to understand and digestible, ensuring the student feels like they are taking control of their learning process.

To begin, I would want to know as much about your learning topics, desires and outcomes as possible, as well as potential areas of strength and weakness.
Once the topics and goals are outlined, I would offer a personalised, student lead lesson format. I believe it is best to learn from real-life examples of environmental issues or by studying systems and processes as practically as possible, so topic dependent, we'd review a case-study together, spend time working through the key scientific processes or ideas, breaking down any complex processes into manageable stages. I would provide support and guidance with homework or projects, offering short but fun quizzes to reinforce our knowledge. We would always end each session with a review of the lesson and plan the next steps needed.
